| Been there! It's a lovely and most interesting area and, if you can all drag yourselves away from the beer for a minute (unlikely), the museum is well worth a couple of hours (sobering up). And it's only a few minutes walk from Faessla (and Spezial). I bet the newbies were among those who protested about the road, while many of the old residents thought it was progress. That's the way things often work. I've lived in a lot of different places and one thing that I've observed is that long-term residents often become quite indifferent to their surroundings - it's often the newbies who appreciate things more. It's all about getting a balance, as we observed many times in our discussions about beer, breweries, traditions, etc., etc. Look at the way that I'm taking to the microbrewery revolution in the UK - no choice really! |
