Flights through FRA (and just a bit on Manchester Beer & Cider Fest)

Not asking you to bare your soul, Nick, but I would like to know about these dangerous cost cutting practices. Ryanair were accused, anonymously by one of their pilots in 2012 of flying very close to safety limits on fuel.  However, this was refuted by both the Spanish and Irish aviation authorities. In fact, all the low cost carriers have excellent safety records, better than their high cost competitors. I accept that their employment practices are dubious and, if their staff went on strike, I wouldn't cross a picket line. But it is British Airways cabin crew who are threatening strikes over conditions.

We live in a world where bad employment conditions are on tthe increase, making it hard to decide who to support.
