Does that mean you don't need advice about the Gunzendorf/Frankendorf/Buttenheim route? I play football in Gunzendorf and can confirm this is a beautiful hike. The kellers are also excellent - Senftenberg and the 2 in Buttenheim. I would caveat by saying that the beer is sub standard (for Franken). Ok, S'berg has Post Tiefenellern but still... there's better out there. as for Buttenheim well... average. But in great places, average beer can taste great|! Re the 7 Brauereien auf einen Streich, it's more like 5. Winkler doesn't exist anymore but there is Brandholz who now brew there and are doing a good job - they just aren't open very often to the public. Krug in Geisfeld brew bottles but the pub has been closed a few years. Still, plenty to enjoy. |
