Excursions with 9 euro ticket

A lot of drinkers are disdainful of Kulmbacher’s beers. If that doesn‘t put you off Kulmbach, the brewery museum (the old Mönchshof brewery) is interesting, and there is a brewpub and a nice little beer bar.

The best thing about the 9 euro ticket, even better than the price, is the convenience of it. You can get off a train anywhere in Germany and immediately hop on a bus or a tram, without having to concern yourself with ticket machines or tarif zones.
