| Apart from the Keller, there is Catweasels Castle, a great student kneipe just up from Spezial walking toward the Wünderburg. They have Spezial U on draft and Sonne (Bischberg) Hell. Weinstube Pizzini has Spezial Lager on draft. That's it. On the way to Catweasel you have Strawanza which is currently closed due to pandemic rules but if open is well worth as stop to see what gravity barrel is tapped (also on FB). Stöhrenkeller has a couple of well tapped beers on (Keesmann Pils and recently Griess Kellerbier) and just down from there is Galerie am Stephansberg with gravity Brauerei Sauer. Pelikan had a may still have Brauerei Heckel on draft alongside Mönchsambacher Export and others. Speaking of which, my regular haunt on weekends, Rotenschild, has gravity Mönchsambacher Lager on Friday and Saturday nights. Would also recommend a visit to Klosterbräu, not sure when you last went but it's become a favourite of mine in the last few years; the Kellerbier and Schwärzla are up there with the best. Just watch the openings as they are rennovating (again). I don't think you'll have any issues finding somehwere to whet your whistle. |
