I love those apocryphal storys Barry.If only they were true.Imagine brewery lab technicians working for a year to replicate a simple Bitter, failing, and keeping thier jobs

I have heard a few over the years. Usually if the beer is different from the original it's intentional.cost saving or not wanting to buy in malts or adjuncts that they dont use for other beers. so they "replicate" using their usual materials.
