Brauerei Hauff, Lichtenau, closes at the end of March |

| After a lifespan of 532 years Hauff Bräu Lichtenau will close for good in the end of March 2021. They still brew Hauff Pils and Hürner beer at the moment, the rest of the range is brewed at Tucher. In 2016 Hauff and Tucher went into a partnership with Tucher bottling for Hauff and brewing some of the beers. Hürner will be brewed at Fürth in the near future. For our region it's a sad loss. It was never my favourite beer, but Hauff was omnipresent until the late 90s. It was the top dog in the neighbourhood. |
