| No, it is just the name of the job. You may already know that Germany has a very comprehensive vocational training system, with many young (and not so young) people going through a three-year apprenticeship which includes on-the-job training and college on day release. Brauer und Mälzer is the name of this particular training programme because it qualifies you to work in either field. |
