| Yes, stopped brewing in 2000 according to their own website. From the waiter’s perspective, I suppose technically the company “Brauerei Schmitt” still exists and still supplies them with beer. Two separate randoms mentioned Tambosi to me, one in Schlenkerla and one in Mahr’s, so I went back again for lunch. It was really good, buttery soft Schäuferla beautifully presented.
