| Haha, I do appreciate a glass of Silvaner so I’ll survive, I suppose. Yes, the route via Fürth is the one suggested by the VGN. I guess I could also go via Bamberg—Schweinfurt—Rottendorf and stop off in Oberhaid to confirm that Wagner has improved as much as everyone says, maybe explore some places nearby I've never been. But the 952 bus route is no use at the weekend so it would have to be rail-accessible. I see Kauzenbräu of Ochsenfurt have their brewery festival next weekend so that’s another option, although Ochsenfurt is outside the VGN area so a bit trickier to get to. Thanks for the Vogelgaessler tip, although I fear I may be too full of Neder Export to take advantage of it. Thunderstorms forecast for the day I had planned to spend wandering from Keller to Keller, oh well. |
