| A sad and tragic loss. Brauerei Windsheimer of Gutenstetten, founded in 1767, is currently in the process of closing down. At the moment the last beers are being sold from stock. It's really sad, as it was a small family run business with outstanding beer. Especially the Lager and the dark Vollbier were fantastic. I saved two boxes for my birthday tomorrow. That'll be the last Windsheimer-Bier that I'll drink. Oh dear... Ah, the reasons: Investment backlog, unresolved succession and declining sales because of the corona virus. |
