Very glad to hear that about Schroll.

I understand what you mean by banks, etc., but an awful lot of people have managed it in the uk, mainly thanks to the freedom to open a micro-pub (which puts them into a similar position as that enjyed in Germany, AFAIK). But, all that's really BTW, and much less important than breweries - big and small - pretending to be something that they're not.

I understand the Kraus situation reasonably well, that is, as well as one can when you don't actually live in a country, the deeper aspects of political attitudes. After all, I've been familiar with them for an awful long time and, in the end, they're not that much different from those in the UK or France or The Netherlands or .... you name it.
