Ahörnla im Sand, Bamberg, to restart brewing after 60 year break |

| Website isn't up yet but this has been announced on their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ahoernlabraeu/ The Ahörnla tavern in Sandstrasse, just a few steps away from Schlenkerla, is to start brewing again. Like many old taverns, it once had its own brewery, but brewing stopped in 1961. This development follows in the footsteps of Sternla on Lange Strasse, which began brewing in 2019. Given that Bamberg's brewery taverns are often extremely busy, I think there is plenty of scope for this trend to continue. |
