| It is with some sadness that I have to report the closure of this classic Bamberg Kneipe. I only discovered it after I moved here, though I'd heard about it of course before. I became quite friendly with Thomas over the past few years, playing cards and enjoying his great taste in music. He had talked about retiring for a while. Guess the Corona crisis made things a little more clear. He was an out and out Wirt, and I sometimes wonder if he had more fun than some of his customers, playing music, rocking out (do people still say that?) and always chatting away. I'm sure that many of the regulars here will have spent some time at Torschuster over the years. As a resident it was a great option that will be sadly missed. |
