| Well, its Super Saturday tomorrow and English pubs can reopen. Our Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish friends will have to wait a bit longer. Up here in Newcastle, only 30% of the pubs say they are opening, and as police are saying they expect tomorrow night to be as busy as New Year's Eve, you dont have to be Nostradamus to see there might be problems. Hopefully it will go OK, I wont be going out on Saturday, but might try one of the local boozers midweek. Its reserved tables, table service via an app, leave contact details. The new normal, I guess. Anyone going out on Saturday night? |
