| Stefan Krug has told me, that he has visited ireland as a tourist and loved this country. So he has tried to inbound his love in a beer. It was deep black, with a subtle sweetness, taste of chocoalt and roasted bread, hoppy bitterness. The head of the foam is not quite as creamy as a Guinness Extra Stout. But nobody has known an irish stout, apart of Guinness, so the customers liked it as a dark beer and doesn't compare it with an original beer of this style. |
