| Though some people around this board aren't fans of him, Stephan Michel of Mahr's always struck me as friendly and forthcoming in discussing the brewing side of his beers, and speaks excellent English. Peter Griess of Brauerei Griess in Geisfeld was also very forthcoming, and I suspect he speaks English. Franz Roppelt of Roppelt in Stiebarlimbach might not speak any English, but was as forthcoming as could be with me. Now...I was talking to these guys in terms of my having been a homebrewer, which might have had a different impact. When are you planning to visit? |
