How is the planning situation re the wooden sleepers going?  Since you told me, I've now become an ardent wooden sleeper spotter on British railways - there thousands!  Even mainline stations, such as Crewe and Chester have 'em and there are tens of thousands in disused sidings, etc.  As for Czechia... By German standards, a Europe-wide environmental disaster is brewing!
