| Well he did just say "sorry, we're closed". After ignoring me. And got a bit snooty when I tried, nicely, to persuade him that a quick pre-train Seidla might not be much trouble, seeing how I had been mislead into thinking the place was open. The windows were shuttered though, TBF. But I thought it was worth a try, and expected a jovial reception. Nope. Ah well. I've gotten over it. They do a fair trade in that Bamberg, so, no need to sell a Seidla when he's decided he's done for the night. Maybe also a religious thing: you don't go out after 22.00 on a "stille Feiertag"? |
