1oz Pours at US Beer Festivals

Yes, Massachusetts law allows 2 oz "samples" to be dispensed free of charge, and that is why most beer fests in MA have gone to an unlimited 2 oz serving model. It is easier to charge for admission and then offer unlimited "free" samples instead of dealing with exchange of money or tickets at every beer booth. Some US States might allow this for 4 oz samples. The only place I saw 1 oz was at GABF (Denver) many years ago; I don't know if it is still the case at GABF.
