Seven Hills

I don't really buy that 7 hills business.  7 is a magic number in many cultures, so it's a bit convenient.  I lived in Bath for many years and never heard this.  It depends how you define hills, where one hill ends and another starts, etc. Re Bamberg, I reckon that it's largely a tourism construct to link it with Rome (only pope to be buried north of the Alps etc.  If it's a tourism concern, should we be opposed to it?
