Thanks Mosquit. That's really the thing that I don't understand. I assume that the trains fall under the PIT or PID system. But, as I don't to use them as I'm staying fairly central and only really want to travel around Praha by normal public transport, if necessary, I can just show my ID (passport or whatever). It's getting better! Something that I don't really understand about Germany is that, generally, Rentner do not get any concessions (except when we went to Moedlareuth, where we got a special 'Rentner ticket' for the museum. It's just about the only country that I know like this - I've discussed it with German people (including my former neighbours) and one view is that Rentners get good pensions and, therefore, don't need concessions. |
