| Youve nailed it there, Mark. That sense of anticipation when you come out of the station knowing theres a week of lovely beer in idyllic surroundings. I still, after nearly 30 years, enjoy the city and always viait all the old haunts. A walk up to Griefenklau and a seat on the lovely terrace, or a beer by the water in the Bootshaus cuts out 99% of the tourists. We tend, like you, to venture out into the country during the day and return to Bamberg for a few nightcaps. Hope to keep doing it for a few years yet. |
