| Some interesting info out there about the growth of tourism worldwide and what has been happing. Such as this article: A couple of interesting points in here. 1. Tourism has grown for 7 years in a row since the "Great Recession" of 08-09. 2. Europe actually is experiencing less growth than other parts of the world. The Americas almost double the growth for example. It may seem to us like Europe is the place getting slammed the hardest because those of us on this forum tend to holiday there. But the reality may be quite different. The article is from earlier this year but still relevant I suppose. Honestly I think Franconia as a whole is getting off relatively easy.
