We stayed there a few years. Quite nice, well looked after aprtments, in a quiet location. Bit of a walk to station and not much around there apart from Abseits.

It was the paucity of decent, reasonably priced accommodation in the City that prompted us to look outside. If you stay close to the rail line (and a station, of course), it's almost as handy as living in Bamberg itself.
