Hi Barry, Would endorse Jason's comments and even without the beer, Prague is a wonderful place. Fred's guide is a good starting place for planning beer wanderings. Id recommend more time in Prague and less in Ceske personally. Youll find plenty of apartments on Booking.com, Airbnb etc. Accommodation isnt megacheap, this is one of Europe's biggest tourist cities after all. Its a lot more pleasant(and cheaper) being out of the old town, possibly in Smichov, Zizkov, Vrsovice or Karlin. Public transport is excellent and cheap. I think youll find a lot has changed since 1968! My first trip was 1982 and beer was 10p/pint. |
