But "bayerisch" shouldn't be capitalised in any case, save at the start of a sentence, whereas "Bamberger" should be (city/locale place name vs state/national place name as adjective). Mit den bayerischen LeuteN, mit dem bayerischen VolkE. (N-declination and dative-E! Though the latter isn't 100% required.) As you see on the Bundestag building in Berlin: "dem deutschen Volke", as in to whom it's dedicated. (Yes, of course it's all capitalised there.)
