No, Germans are perfect, in every grammatical way. They must be, by law. No confusion between dative & accusative, ever. Especially not in Franconia. (My understanding is Hochdeutsch is basically Hannover dialect, but I'm too disinterested in the history to remember exactly how it came to be so. Surely must be easily googleable.)
