| On topic...Kitzmann have their seasonal (summer) Rotbier on again now, and it's quite nice this year. 4.4%, dry, neither so sweet nor as malty as previous years' were. That's OK, I can take a reduction in maltiness as the price for less sweetness. Had two yesterday, even (check Twitter at the bottom.) Other topics...'Franconian' as the proper adjective when speaking and writing in English, 'fränkisch' when writing or speaking Deutsch? (Language trainer in me has a hard time letting that go!) |
