First Franconia trip

Yeah, having trouble keeping up with e-mail. I wear my normal shoes (whatever sort, trainers, I guess you'd say) or sandals on my bike. Hard as I can up and downhill through the woods, or flat along the canal, no matter. I'm not a racer, and have never ridden a bike with straps or attachments or whatever. If pedals have straps on one side though, simply flip them upside down if you don't want to use them.

I'd be highly surprised if any bike you might get at the FeWo had funny pedals though. I assume your fitness centre bike has straps. That's more the exception than the rule IMO.

Meh. I didn't know that came from the Simpson's. Ain't watched the Simpson's regularly since...ever, really. Maybe in our latter Oregon years,
