| Yes, Annafest can be a killer, as I well know: you are drinking liters instead of half-liters, and the beers are a bit stronger than typical Franconian lagers. I think my body can metabolize the alcohol in 1.5-2 Seidla (half-liter) of 4.5% - 5.0% ABV beer per hour, but it is the accumulation of unmetabolized alcohol that gets you in the end as it builds up in your system during a session. |
