| I'm going to have to step in and say it makes a huge difference. Sure, as an American (thereby used to keg) Jimbo may not notice but I certainly do. Mahrs used to be a personal favourire and now I barely go in. It's a common debate on here that i think has been exhausted but gravity dispense and keg is like cask vs keg. The U is a subtle beer and those fruity, almost ale like flavours realky cane through on gravity and are lost in keg. Spezial lager tastes different gravity to leg. And the locals do notice a difference and were not happy. A number have moved to keesman. But Herr Michel carries on regardless and spends too much of his time in the US pandering to industry celebs. The Helles has been poor recently too. David, as always go and see for yourself. |
