Anyone tried Klosterbrau recently?

Agreed, it's an important historic brewing location IMO, would be a shame to not at least see for yourself, especially now that there's new ownership--maybe an improvement.

FWIW, I don't know if it's more expensive than, say, Schlenkerla. I don't go there often when I'm in Bamberg, but Missus's & my first visit as tourists is one I still think back on fondly. I've never noticed the service to be any different to the other Bamberger suspects.

I've taken other first-timer tourists there, and they've seemed to enjoy it well enough.
