Beer tour to Michelbach yesterday. First we were invited to the brewery by the boss, Frau Schmetzer-Jäger, who asked us to try the new batch of Rotbier. Which was excellent, of course. Then we went to that nice ancient Wirtshaus "Deutsches Haus" for the Export from tap, which was more than excellent. Then 2 kms to the tiny farming village of Roßbürg. There's a 1960s style pub that you really have to visit. Some more Schmetzer beers from bottle and a good laugh. The owner is a really cheeky guy. Splendid evening!
