Totally agree Andy - don't know about the generation thing though.  We are both slight.. ahem.. more senior than many of our colleagues on this Forum but it is the mix of students, regulars and visitors that I like about Faessla. Yes, all those things about Spezial, fortunately, the beer makes up for the downside.  Don't know about unpleasant locals, like with mospubs in Franken, we've met loads of frienbdly chatty people there, mainly of our mature vintage!  Maybe you just like hanging around with the youth!
