Hi Don, I suppose that, by common sight, you mean like whales are a common sight off Loophead in West Clare. Yes, you can see them but you have to spend a lot of time looking at vast stretches of empty water before you do!

Bottle-nosed dolphins, on the other hand, are as common as muck.
