True!!! I made the same experience last year along the Aisch-Altmuehl-Donau path (Buttenheim-Regensburg) and this year on a "circle"-path (Buttenheim-Bamberg-Main-Tauber-Aisch-Buttenheim) We always looked forward to our last  stage from Bad Windsheim to Buttenheim...
