| Mask? Dunno what you mean there. Our homebrew club had a meeting at the Oregon State University brewing department once, where a chap gave us samples of basic beer that had been doctored up with various chemicals, so that we could have clear, positive examples of them. Like the afore-mentioned ones. There was also a range of bacterial infections, IIRC, but it was over 20 years ago now. I'm not sure what a professional beer tester learns, pity we don't have anyone on here to give us an idea! (Paging TreinJan...) |
