Bauchfass/Tub/Gravity Barrel Question

I thought the wooden casks in Franken where genuine.Glad ypu have confirmed. What I was thinking is that they where actually a cask within a wooden cask. I am sure you are right about those little rubber covered casks,insulation,and I suspect good for preventing damage due to rough handling. .
