| Inspired by Jason's post did a trip to Drugendorf on Wednesday. Theres a fairly regular bus from Eggolsheim station. It also stops at Weigelshofen so you could include Pfister if you so wished. Beer was good, the tap was lovely. 100 yards down the road is a disused brewery. From here we walked to Gunzendorf and up the hill to the Senftenberg Keller. Great spot, this, fairly steep walk, but well worth it. Beer was from Honig in Tiefenellern. Drugendorf to the keller is about 4 km. Another 4km takes you to Buttenheim. Beer in the Lowenbrau keller was perhaps not quite as good as previous years. All in all a very pleasant walk. Incidentally We saw a Meusel of Dreuschendorf van in Bamberg this morning. He was delivering beer, so I folowed him but he just qent into a private house. Lots of aoft drinks on board. |
