| Sounds like a good trip but comments on Sunday visit. If you're in Wiesen, the temptation is to go to Thomson, but it's just not worthwhile (if it's actually open). It's now just a glorified restaurant, no atmosphere and the beer is average, that's being kind! Two different beers are well-worth trying, then head to Nedensdorf and Reblitz - at least 3 different beers, Inc often a top fermented ale. Depending on method, of travel, it's only a quick nip to Vierzehnheiligen or, if you want to head back towards Bamberg, there's Ebensfelder, Breitengussbach, ebing, Kemmern, etc. Saturday, you could also include Brauerei Hoh . |
