Train from Munich to Windischeschenbach?

You can buy a single ticket Windischeschenbach to Vilseck for 10,20 Euro and than a VGN Single Ticket Vilseck to Bamberg for 11,20 €. But I believe it's easier to buy a Bayernticket for 23,00 Euro. You can use the metro in Nuremburg for a break p.e.  and the buses in Bamberg etc.which are included in the Bayernticket.
