The "Galerie am Stephansberg" has started for many years as a winebar and a bar for artists (exhibitions, live music) An old description. http://www.genusswegweiser.de/bamberg/lokale_id.php?id=119 Now they have a new pub owner, but the same character. Opening times: evening, 7pm small dishes. They have cheep offers of Fässla beers after midnight. Many young guests, modern music etc. Some americans love it - it's only a short distance to the Best Western Hotels, Spezial, Fässla etc. http://www.faessla.de/gaststatten/faessla-stuben/ Don't forget the Weinstube Pizzini. They offer beers from Weyermann and the Pax-Bräu (one liter, so better to share). Very old pub.
