| Organizer of the festival is the community Bamberger Brauereien e.V.. If You asked why the breweries Klosterbräu or the Weyermann Braumanufaktur don't partizipate You get the answer, that they are not members of the community. https://www.facebook.com/Bierkulturstadt/ is the facebook page of this community. Actual club chairman is the owner of Kaiserdom. Maybe the Greifenklau Zwickel is "only" an unfiltered version of the Lager??? Fässla Zwergla is in my opinion the best beer of Fässla apart from the Bambergator. The students love it because You get much alcohol (6% vol. alc.) for Your money. It was launched in the year 2002 (or before?). I haven't tasted a Kaiserdom Schwarzbier. Maybe it's the Alt-Bamberg Dunkel, which is very dark brown to black. Ot it is the "Munchenal Premium Dark Lager" (the Ratebeer-name), which is maybe the same beer. Or it's the "Kaiserdom Meranier Schwarzbier" which was brewed in the year 1998 for a great exhibtion in Bamberg about "Die Andechs-Meranier in Franken". http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/kaiserdom-meranier-schwarzbier/24408/ We can ask They offer also flame tarte and crepes, maybe vegetarian variations. But I recommend the Kümmelbratwürste of the butcher Kalb. Maybe You can imagine them as smoked tofu.... |
