Löwenbräu Vestenberg had 22 pubs in the mid 80s and a production of 3000 hl per annum. Do you think that was big? It still is a small brewery. I'll buy it when I'm grown up. ;-) Hauff had dozens of pubs. They definetely brewed more than 25000 hl per year.
