I really love this idea!

If you want to know about my perfect pub (which seems so like the micropub idea), you can read an article by George Orwell, written in 1946, describing his perfect pub. You'd have thought all pubs would have been like the 'Moon Under Water in 1946 but, it seems. apparently not'. Interesting article on the BBC's website about Orwell and pubs:
