Weekend round-up

Sorry, 'how would you like such a product'?  I was thinking as a contrast with with the 'thinner' lower gravity beers.  Good point about OBB and Sussex but I'm thinking about something 'weaker', maybe 3 - 3.5% but still with a good OG.   On Mahrs: well, I don't really like to drink that much nowadays (except on Tag des Bieres and the like!), so I can manage 4 to 5before staggering off to the bus.  It's the yeastiness that I like about Mahrs U, something that's not so prevalent in Spezial U (but which is still lovely!). And, yes, I meant ABV - I don't think that ABW was ever significant in UK brewing... but I could be wrong!
