| Well now, be careful with judging Archie Bunker too harshly. The beauty of that programme...sorry, it was an American TV *show*...was that Archie learned to be less of a prejudiced, even marginally racist old twat through experiences with those against whom he was prejudiced. This might not come across in short clips; you have to watch an entire episode. As someone who's grown to love traditional beer like Kellerbier and proper bitter more than experimental beer, I continue to scratch my head over why you (and Andy?) seem to struggle so much with the idea that a brewer can simply want to try different things, without it implying that he's given up on "traditional" methods or recipes, or trying to hide problems in their brewing. |
