| Indeed it's confusing. 1648 the family has bought the brewery in Willersdorf. 1849 Johann Rittmayer married the daughter of the brewery Starkgraff und Rauh in Hallerndorf. So the family has owned two breweries. 2000 the family has build a modern "Abfüllzentrum" a little bit outside of the center of Hallerndorf (but in the community Hallerndorf) for fillng beers in bottles for many other breweries. 2011/2 they have installed a modern brewery near the Abfüllzentrum. 2 x 50 hl. Capacity until 25.000 hl per year. Maybe the most interesting part is a visit of the modern brewery. I believe to remember that some of the beer specialities of the brewery are not available in the Brauereigaststätte and also not in the Landgasthof in Willersdorf. |
