in Cheb you could also buy Egronet ticket (valid for whole day, 200 CZK (i.e. 7 EUR). It is valid in quite big area (even to Pegnitz, for example), bike fee included.

Note: if you buy the same ticket on the German side of the border, price for the same is 18 EUR (strange!) http://egronet.de/de/ticket/preise.html
